Children ("Dynamic Dreamers") & Youth – To proclaim what God has done and who he is to the next generation. This ministry helps kids and teens grow spiritually and emotionally and point them to God.
Dance Ministry – The dance ministry objective is to enhance believers’ worship service. We dance with expression of praise, worship, and celebration to reach out to God.
Evangelism/Outreach - The members of our Outreach Department travel into the community to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Greeter- This ministry provides an environment in which new visitors can feel welcomed by greeting them with a smile in the likeness of Christ. Our mission is to accept everyone who walks through the doors of Ministry of Encouragement with an open heart.
Marketing – Our goal is to ensure that Ministry of Encouragement and our pastors are always presented in the best image. We support the vision of our leaders. We focus on the gospel through various media. We produce all marketing materials including church service media, and maintain the website, social media, and all relevant documents.
Musical Accompaniment – Our purpose is to minister to the congregation and to prepare them for the ministry of the Word through music. To provide instrumental accompaniment for the choir, worship team and soloist.
Nursery – This ministry is offered to parents during the Sunday Service. We provide playtime for babies and toddlers. Children are occupied while parents learn. Caregivers inform parents of the child’s behaviors and events of the day. It’s all about the child.
Nursing Home – This ministry helps to create a spiritual environment for residents in nursing homes, by sharing scriptures, song, and the love of God.
Praise Team – This ministry consists of men and women, ages 18 and older. The primary purpose of the praise team is to function as a corporate body of worship leaders who bring the congregation to a place of worship to the Lord.
Transportation Ministry – This ministry is responsible for pick-up and drop-off service for Sunday Morning Service to those congregants who may not have transportation. A valid drivers license is required.
Usher – Ushers in the Old Testament were called doorkeepers (Psalms 84:10 (KJV) - For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.) The role of a church Usher is a spiritual ambassador for the church. They provide an invaluable service to the church body, by guarding the sanctuary, and providing care for the needs of the pastor during the service. Learn more about Usher responsibilities.
